Following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic we are delighted to be back offering a varied programme of events and activities supporting young people.
Our membership has a common interest in gardening and the arts. A committee of volunteers organises events and activities for members that focus on these interests and include London-wide activities, half-day and day trips around London and longer visits throughout the UK and to destinations in France, Italy and Spain, to name a few.
Social gatherings offer a chance for the committee to say thank you to our members and sponsors and, when possible, for members to hear from some of the young people whom the Explore Programme has helped. Examples of our varied programme can be found in our newsletters, and in the gallery that offers a selection of photographs portraying recent and past visits.
Many long-standing friendships have been made through FGAS and new members are always welcome. We appreciate new ideas from members and encourage you to send these to us for consideration. Ideas and comments should be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Better still, we invite you to join us and see for yourself what we do and become part of our programme for supporting disadvantaged young people in London and our inner cities.
